This June 13th you can celebrate National Children's Day by honoring both the rights and power of children.

  1. Become a fan, support, volunteer for a local kid-serving non-profit. Where to find them? Look at grantees of local community foundations or bigger foundations in your community. If you are in the DMV, start with the Catalogue for Philanthropy.

  2. Become a mentor for a young philanthropist in your family, neighborhood, church, or network. Listen to their ideas, concerns. Help them find additional resources. Don't tell kids what to do. Validate their ideas and ask how you can help.

  3. Help kids explore their own philanthropic potential by bringing the Kids for Kids Fund to your school or community. All donations (up to $15,000) made between now and June 15th will be doubled thanks to matches from the Rothschild Foundations and the Serimus Foundation. Help expand our Kids for Kids Fund programming here!
