AMY NEUGEBAUER Executive Director and Founder Amy Neugebauer is the Founder and Executive Director of The Giving Square, an organization dedicated to transforming the civic role of children, through a new, inclusive expression of philanthropy. The organization currently partners with over 75 schools across Maryland, Missouri, and Virginia to offer experiential philanthropic learning experiences for children and youth. Throughout her career, Amy has worked in the fields of community building, education, philanthropy, and social innovation. Prior to founding The Giving Square, Amy served as Deputy to the President at Ashoka and Executive Director of the College Park City-University Partnership. She also founded an integrated youth-led community center in Estonia, which was recognized as a model for youth empowerment and community integration. Amy has a Masters in Community Planning from the University of Maryland and a Bachelors in International Relations from the University of Washington.
